Welcome to Versa Hair Academy. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website (www.versahairacademy.co.uk) and the services provided, including our hair extension training courses. By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. General
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of our website and clients of our services.
1.2. Versa Hair Academy reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
1.3. All information provided on our website is accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, we reserve the right to amend course content, pricing, or other details without prior notice.
2. Course Enrolment and Payment
2.1. Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old to enrol in any of our courses.
2.2. Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once full payment or a deposit is received. Failure to pay in full before the course start date may result in cancellation of your booking.
2.3. Payment Methods: We accept payments via Klarna, Stripe, and other specified methods.
2.4. Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change without prior notice.
2.5. Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable except in cases where Versa Hair Academy cancels the course (see Section 4.2).
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1. Client Cancellations:
- Cancellations made up to 15 days before the course start date may be eligible for a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations made within 15 days of the course start date are non-refundable.
3.2. Company Cancellations:
- Versa Hair Academy reserves the right to change or cancel a course date, venue, or educator at any time without prior notice. In the event of a course cancellation, we will offer an alternative date but no compensation for costs incurred.
- Purchase of a course guarantees access to the course content within 12 months but does not guarantee a specific date or location for the training.
- Cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to info@versahairacademy.co.uk. If a cancellation request is not explicitly stated, your booking will be placed on hold.
4. Course Completion
4.1. Students have 3 months from the date they receive course materials to complete their training. This includes all practical assessments, such as completing live models required for certification.
4.2. Students are responsible for securing their own live models and sourcing any consumables needed for their assessments.
4.3. Certification and access to post-training support will only be granted once all course requirements have been met, including submission of required photos and assessments.
4.4. If course completion requirements are not met within the 3-month timeframe:
- Additional training or reassessment can be arranged at an additional cost.
- Versa Hair Academy reserves the right to withdraw training or revoke certification if the student fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions or accreditation guidelines, or engages in misconduct.
5. Student Insurance and Liability
5.1. Students are responsible for obtaining their own insurance to cover practical work carried out during and after the course. Versa Hair Academy accepts no liability for damages or injuries sustained during training.
5.2. Versa Hair Academy is not responsible for any injuries or damages that occur while participants are practising techniques outside the course setting.
5.3. Students are advised to research appropriate insurance providers prior to offering services to the public.
6. Intellectual Property and Non-Compete
6.1. All course materials, including but not limited to manuals, videos, and templates, are the intellectual property of Versa Hair Academy. These materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without explicit written consent.
6.2. Participants are prohibited from using Versa Hair Academy’s intellectual property to create competing courses, workshops, or training sessions within a five-year period following course completion.
6.3. Failure to comply with these terms may result in legal action.
7. Support and Post-Course Assistance
7.1. Versa Hair Academy is committed to supporting students beyond the course. Lifetime support is provided for all students, including access to guidance, advice, and troubleshooting related to course content.
7.2. A free refresher course can be booked within 3 months of training if a student does not feel confident. This must be arranged in advance to ensure availability.
7.3. After 3 months, refresher training is available for an additional fee:
- £195 for retraining in person using the student’s own kit within 12 months of the original training date.
- £55 per method for online refresher training.
7.4. Support inquiries can be directed to info@versahairacademy.co.uk. We aim to respond within 2-3 business days.
8. Liability
8.1. Versa Hair Academy is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the course or as a result of implementing course techniques.
8.2. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate insurance coverage for their activities.
8.3. Versa Hair Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings during in-person training.
9. Governing Law
9.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
